About this role.

As a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in our Trauma services team you'll work with 3 additional APPs, to provide safe patient care and high-quality patient experiences at St. Vincent. Throughout the day you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with excellent support staff and you'll have onsite resources readily available.

You would practice at our Intermountain Health: St Vincent Regional Hospital.
Our APP team provides 24-hr/365 days of coverage at St. Vincent.
Primary scope is the managing of patients that have been admitted to trauma services.
Collaboration amongst the trauma and general surgeons.
Responds to trauma activations in the ED (assists).
Potential for flexible schedule. Teams tends to work 12 hour or 24 hour shifts and the team self schedules.
EPIC EMR utilization (system-wide).
Excellent opportunity for mentorship, professional growth, and plenty of program support. Great team dynamic!
The hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center, a Certified Stroke Center, and an accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI. The OR includes one hybrid and one biplane operating suite.

What you’ll bring.

An active Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) License by the MT State Board.
Prescriptive Authority by the MT state board of Nursing or Medical Examiners and DEA License.
Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
ACLS Certification within 6 months of employment (site specific).
Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service oriented environment.
Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including Microsoft and Google products. The ability to learn new applications relevant to your position
Passion for inpatient medicine.
Has to be open to working day and night shifts in the same month.
Experience preferred.
