We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) who is passionate about making a difference for our Bellingham Community!

Shift Schedule: NOC shift, Saturday and Sunday

Qualifications:

Graduate of accredited school of nursing
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required
Experience working as a licensed nurse in a senior care or long-term care setting with residents with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other memory impairments preferred
Ability to train staff in first aid and CPR desirable
Knowledge of or willingness to learn state and federal regulations governing nursing care
Strong oral and written communication abilities
One year of experience supervising others to include: setting performance expectations, coaching, motivating, promoting collaboration and teamwork, promoting company culture, managing change, providing performance feedback, delegating effectively, resolving conflicts, etc
Associates must have reliable means of transportation to consistently meet attendance and punctuality standards. This role does not require a valid driver’s license or personal vehicle unless specified in additional job requirements
Excellent organization skills required
Must be comfortable working in an environment with pets and assisting in the care of community pets, including, but not limited to, dogs, cats, and birds
Willing to demonstrate passion and ability to work with people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia- related disease

What you'll be doing:

The RN Charge Nurse will have direct supervisory responsibilities for Medication Aides, Certified Nursing Assistants and Caregivers overseeing the care provided to residents at a Silverado Community
Act as liaison and maintain positive relations with residents, families, and physicians
Enhance the lives of older adults by assisting them with mobility needs, daily living activities, including, bathing, grooming, and routine personal tasks

Anticipated pay range: $46 USD - $51 USD
