Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the plan of care for a specific assigned group of patients. The Medical City North Hills Hospital staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric, and pediatric patients from newborn through adolescence. The attached criteria-based performance evaluation provides a specific set of standards as they relate to age specific competency.

What qualifications you will need:

Graduate of a school of professional nursing
1 year’s Critical Care experience and cardiovascular experience preferred
Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse. Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted; Texas State RN license required 30 days after hire
Certified in BLS required & ACLS from AHA or ARC required within 90 days of employment

Medical City North Hills is a 165+ bed hospital located in the heart of northeast Tarrant County. We have a comprehensive cardiovascular services department. Our hospital is an accredited Cycle 5 Chest Pain Center with a cardiac rehabilitation program. Other services include minimally invasive robotic surgery and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. We have sports medicine, senior health, wound care and outpatient rehabilitation. Our campus has a womens imaging center and geriatric behavioral unit. As a part of the Medical City network of hospitals and specialists, patients are ensured access to leading medical experts and advanced healthcare innovations across the network.
