Welcome to the 3 West Surgical Unit at St. Anthony North Hospital, a designated Magnet® facility, where excellence in patient care meets advanced surgical techniques. With modern technology and a state-of-the-art facility, our team of skilled surgeons, nurses, and support staff deliver personalized treatment plans to patients recovering from orthopedic and bariatric surgeries. Whether it’s a general routine procedure or a complex procedure, our team is dedicated to helping patients regain mobility, equip them with the tools and knowledge to heal quickly, and overall, improve their health and wellbeing.

We value our incredible Certified Nursing Assistants and want to ensure they practice at the top of their license to better optimize their skills and experience. We’ve also developed a career path framework for CNAs that clarifies paths to move, develop and advance CNA careers into nursing and other roles. The Certified Nursing Assistants provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

Six months previous CNA experience preferred
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Basic computer skills
Previous customer service experience preferred
High School diploma or GED required
Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program required
State registered CNA license required
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred. CPI training required if sitting with M-1 holds

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
