This position comes with a $20,000 sign-on bonus. This is a full-time day position (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.).

As an ER Registered Nurse, you will be on the frontline of care, providing life-saving treatment in a fast-paced setting. Your ability to stay calm under pressure, make quick decisions, and your compassion for our diverse patient base will serve you well in this vital role.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality care to patients with varying levels of illness and injury.
Triage and assess patient needs quickly and efficiently.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Educate patients and families on care plans and next steps.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Current and valid state RN License
Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
Current PALS (AHA) certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current
Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire
Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNNC) within 6 months of hire required
Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting preferred
Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Facility Specific Requirements (facility may require items listed below):

In Paramedic Base Station ED: MICN within 12 months of hire and maintain current
EDAP certified facilities: Completion of emergency pediatric course 1 and 2 within 6 months of hire
Non OB facilities: NRP (AHA) certificate 90 days upon hire and maintain current
