Registered Nurse School Setting - Enfield, CT

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled professional to provide essential nursing support in an elementary school setting. This role is focused on creating a safe and healthy environment for students, ensuring their medical needs are met effectively.

Qualifications:

Valid RN license in Connecticut
Previous experience in pediatric nursing preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with school staff
Knowledge of health room protocols and procedures

Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary school nurse, assessing and addressing the health needs of students
Manage the health room, providing care for students with minor injuries and illnesses
Collaborate with educators to promote health education and wellness
Administer medications and monitor student health plans
Coordinate with parents and guardians regarding student health concerns
Maintain accurate health records and documentation as required
