Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) at iCare Health Netework - Bennington, VT

iCare Health Network is hiring an experienced ADNS to join the innovative team at MissionCare at Bennington. This facility is filled with caring staff making a difference in a first of it's kind VT facility. An ideal ADNS has experience in a long-term care setting as a Supervisor, Unit Manager or other progressive experience.

This position is Monday-Friday and will work along side the building Administrator and Director of Nursing, Infection Prevention and other management and floor staff. On-call obligation.

Responsibilities:

· Assists in the management of all levels of nursing staff to ensure accountability to all standards of nursing practice, quality care, and treatments.

· Takes a lead role in regular facility rounds and monitoring of resident status.

· Maintains awareness of all resident clinical care issues.

· Acts as a leader in observing and instructing clinical staff with resident care.

· Assists the Director of Nursing (DNS) in the overall training of nursing staff to support clinical services and to meet and exceed established clinical competency levels.

· Provides daily oversight of the RN Supervisors, Charge Nurses, and CNAs.

Qualifications:

· Active RN license in the State of VT, required.

· Knowledge of Quality Assurance/Improvement processes, required.

· Bachelors or Associate degree in Nursing (BSN, ADN, ADS)

· Experience in a supervisory position in long-term care, preferred.
