What We’re Looking For

We welcome nurses with a variety of educational backgrounds – whether you hold a diploma, associate's, bachelor's, master's, or doctorate in nursing from an accredited nursing program. All we ask is that you have a deep commitment to providing the highest standard of care, as well as certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Provider-Advanced, Fetal Monitoring, and STABLE.

Additionally, we're looking for candidates who have at least one year of experience in Labor & Delivery over the past three years. Your expertise in fetal/uterine monitoring and your ability to assess and support both high-risk obstetrics and mother-baby care will be essential to your success on our team.

Care for Pregnant Patients: You will provide hands-on care through all stages of labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery, ensuring the safety and comfort of both mothers and their newborns.
Work with Advanced Equipment: You’ll use state-of-the-art monitoring and resuscitative equipment, and administer complex treatments, including IV push medications, with confidence.
Team Collaboration: You’ll be an integral part of a dynamic team, where you’ll have the chance to mentor and lead others, provide orientation, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care.
Flexibility: We offer a variety of shift schedules (day, evening, and night shifts) to fit your lifestyle, with a month’s notice for scheduling so you can plan ahead. Plus, we’re open to discussing alternative schedules like compressed work weeks if that better suits your needs.

The Role

As a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Performing full assessments and providing comprehensive care for patients throughout labor and delivery, including those with high-risk obstetrics.
Administering and monitoring complex treatments, including invasive and non-invasive equipment, fluid balance, and lab data.
Collaborating with the team to monitor and assess maternal and neonatal status, ensuring timely interventions as needed.
Leading or contributing to the delivery of education and orientation for new staff and assisting with unit management, including patient acuity and staff assignments.
Providing transitional care for neonates, ensuring their safety and well-being during this critical time.

What You Bring to the Table

A Valid Nursing License: You must have a current, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
A Heart for Patient Care: You’re passionate about supporting mothers, babies, and families through one of the most transformative experiences of their lives.
Experience in Labor & Delivery: With at least one year of experience in Labor & Delivery within the last three years, you bring the knowledge and confidence necessary to provide top-tier care in this fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Schedule & Shift Details

Shifts: Variable - including day, evening, and night shift
Breaks: We ensure that you have a 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute breaks during your shift.
Flexibility: Site provides scheduling for each two-week period one month in advance
Shift changes: We give advance notice for any required changes to your schedule to accommodate patient care needs.
