Hiring Home Care Nursing Supervisor, Registered Nurse PER DIEM

We are hiring Nursing Supervisors to oversee our nursing staff and manage patient care. The goal is to promote and restore clients’ health by developing day-to-day management and long-term planning while at the same time overseeing the performance and quality care provided by our caregivers and/or certified homehealth aides.

Job Responsibilies:

Directs, mentors, develops, and schedules staff, including communicating job expectations and providing performance reviews.
Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staff to implement patient care.
Provides physical and psychological support for patients, friends, and families.
Meets nursing operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; and identifying system improvements.
Maintains nursing guidelines by writing and updating policies, procedures, plan of care and assessments.
Completes home care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing and staff and following up on work results.
Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
Promotes patients’ independence by establishing patient care goals, teaching and counseling patients, friends, and family to reinforce their understanding of disease, medications, and self-care skills.
Provides information to patients and health care team by answering questions and requests.
Perform client visits and conduct assessments on a routined basis.

Education and Licensing Requirements:

Registered Nurse (RN), BSN in New Jersey
Active applicable state licensure
2+ years of experience in the field
