Full-time Opportunities

Proposed Schedule: Three 12s, Four 10s or Five 8s (Days)

*Note: This opportunity is located at Mercy South. Candidates who do not yet have OR experience will be considered for the next available OR Fellowship.

Overview:

Mercy South OR conducts a variety of cases including Orthopedics, Neurology, General and Vascular. RN's are typically hired into one of these specialty pods, and may have the opportunity to cross-train to other pods in the department.

Qualifications:

Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
Experience: Must have at least 2 years of Surgery, Perioperative or Critical Care experience.
License: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
Certifications: Basic Life Support CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
Physical Requirements: Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
