Here’s What You Need

Associates Degree in Nursing required
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
2 years ICU, ER or Behavioral Health required or
5 years other direct patient care nursing experience required
RN upon hire required
BCLS prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required

What You Will Do

Facilitates behavioral health transfers throughout the THR system and from other healthcare facilities.
Completes nurse to nurse reports and documents appropriately.
Receives, reviews, and documents crisis clinician assessment requests then deploys assessors within department standards.
Works closely with entity behavioral health directors and doctors to assure proper placements of patients.
Builds relationships with all stakeholder groups involved in behavioral health transfers including physicians and promotes the center to potential referral resources.
