Neuro NP in Bronx

Regional Neurological Associates is seeking a dedicated and compassionate NP in Neurology to join our team. We are a leading healthcare organization providing comprehensive neurological health services. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled NP who is passionate about Neurology and committed to improving the neurological health and well-being of individuals.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments.
Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans based on the patient's health needs.
Provide medication management and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Diagnostic tests: Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as MRI's and CT Scans.
Laboratory tests: Order and interpret Lab tests.
Offer counseling and psychotherapy services to patients and their families.
Educate patients and their families on neurological conditions and lifestyle modifications.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provie comprehensive patient care.
Participate in clinical meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York.
Ability to work independently and effectively manage a caseload of patients.
Strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of medications and treatment modalities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
