Do you want to impact life positively? Come join us on the 4G Cardiology Unit where we are changing patients’ lives for the better. The clinical services provided include telemetry monitoring, patient and family education, physical assessment, post procedure recovery, pre procedure monitoring and preparation, oxygen therapy, blood administration, pain management, IV therapy, sheath removal, radial hemostasis band management, and medication administration.

Number of Beds: 24
Patient Population/ Typical diagnosis: Advanced Heart Failure and Left Ventricular Assist Devices (LVAD), Cardiomyopathy, Acute Coronary Syndrome, Dysrhythmias, Valvar Heart Disease, Congenital Heart Disease, pre and post Cardiac Catheterization, Structural Heart, and Electrophysiology procedural care
Targeted Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
18 months of experience as an RN. Minimum one year of experience in the area of concentration.
Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments.
