Guardian Angel Senior Services is now hiring in-home caregivers to work with senior citizens in and around Newton, Ma.

Qualifications:

Must be able to read, write, and speak English at a conversational level. We welcome applicants for whom English is a second language!

Responsibilities

Assist client with ambulation and mobility around the house
Assist client with personal care and hygiene
Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the client
Assist with shopping errands
Perform light housekeeping duties
Be a pleasant and supportive companion
Report any unusual incidents
Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergences
