What You’ll Be Doing

Provide direct patient care, including vitals, injections, phlebotomy, and assisting with procedures.
Coordinate daily workflows to optimize efficiency and enhance the patient experience.
Assist with training and mentoring new team members.
Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety regulations, and best practices.
Partner with providers and staff to enhance team-based care and patient engagement.

What You Bring to the Team

✔ Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.✔ 2+ years of experience in a medical assistant role (lead or supervisory experience a plus).✔ Highly reliable and committed to team success.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience:

No less than 2+ years’ experience as a Medical Assistant
Experience with Electrocardiogram (EKG), taking vital signs, venipuncture, capillary and giving injections.

Other Requirements:

Must possess a current BLS certification or obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

General Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch.
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment: Combination of medical office and exam/procedure room settings.

OSHA CategoryThis position performs tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids and/or tissues. All employees performing these duties are offered the opportunity to receive the Hepatitis-B vaccination series.
