Works collaboratively with the other Children's Urgent Care Supervisor to supervise all Children's Urgent Care staff in the day-to-day operations of the Appleton urgent care location to ensure patients receive quality services in a timely manner. Has responsibility for staffing plans, schedules, quality assurance, PPL, attendance, coaching and development of staff. Work collaboratively with staff, peers, and department managers to achieve goals set forth by CUC Manager and Medical Director.

Every other weekend on-call rotation

Education/License/Certification:

Bachelor's degree in nursing required.

A license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin.

Experience & Skills:

Minimum 12 months of supervisory experience preferred, prior experience in a leadership role required.

Ability to work flexible hours (evenings and weekends) to meet patient care needs.

Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of pediatric growth and development and child/family responses to fear, illness, injury and hospitalization.

Specific skills, experience or accreditation in pediatric clinics preferred.

This knowledge is usually acquired through a minimum of three years experience in pediatric nursing.

BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Health & Safety Association, License RN-Registered Nurse (30) - State of Wisconsin
