Description:

The OB/Gyn Clinic RN provides nursing care to patients in our Women’s Clinic setting. They will assist with obstetric and gynecologic procedures, provide patient education, and, overall, be a clinical support to the providers. They will be vital in creating a positive patient experience by providing quick response time to questions, faster result notification, and be able to offer same day visits for many acute issues.

Responsibilities:

OB patient intakes and medical screening
Triage phone calls and call backs
Coordinate outgoing referrals, imaging and follow up as needed
Result call backs and counseling
Surgery counseling, pre and post-op follow up
Induction and c-section scheduling and counseling
Coordination with birth center-Childbirth education, lactation support, etc. for integrative patient care
Postpartum phone call follow-up/triage/assessment
Non-stress testing in the office
Assist with coordinating, prepping, and post care for in office procedures
Expanding clinic services – more in office procedures, LEEP hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation, etc.

Qualifications

Qualification/Education/Requirements:

Current unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Oregon
Healthcare Provider Level BLS
ACLS and NRP required within six months of hire
One year of experience preferred
