Are you an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) ready to make a difference? Hastings Senior Health & Living, a top-rated 72-bed long-term care facility, is looking for Full-Time and Part-Time LPNs to join our dedicated, compassionate team!

We are also offering a $10,000 Bonus for Full-Time and a $5,000 Bonus for Part-Time hires along with scholarships and student loan repayment assistance. We have staff appreciation events, low staff resident/staff ratios, and a management supported work environment. We are also hiring for On-Call!

Shifts: Evening - 2:30pm - 11:00pm - Full-Time and Part-Time ($2 Shift Differential)
Every Other Weekend, Day - 6:30am - 3:00pm

Wage: $27.89- $36.26 per hour depending on experience.

LPN responsibilities:

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care plans for residents.
Recognizes and manages common geriatric syndromes common to aging adults: cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, neurological, sensory and pain problems.
Supervises work performed by TMAs and Nursing Aides.
Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
Performs additional duties as required.

LPN skills and requirements:

Must have a current MN LPN license and be in good standing.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks.
Skills in problem definition and resolution.
Ability to focus all efforts toward quality resident care.
