Pay range for this position is $23.19 - $33.91/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Licensed Practical Nurse Care Guide is responsible for registering, collecting payments, rooming, assisting the provider with care and treatment, discharging, and following-up with patients. It is the role of the Care Guide to companion patients and their â€œsecondary guests" through the entire experience to maximize clinical excellence, reduce treatment times, and maximize the patient experience; before, during, and after the patient visit.

The Care Guide is responsible for assisting the provider with front office and back-office duties in the outpatient management of patients on a rotating basis. This role is responsible for a variety of clinical functions within a clinic setting requiring knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data; discretion; good judgment; diplomacy; decision making; and a customer service attitude. Acting as the patient advocate, the Care Guide has continuous contact with providers, patients, patient families/significant others, community agencies, and patient care staff and management. Floating to various facilities required based on business need.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School Diploma/ GED

Licensure/ Certification: LPN License American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers) to be completed within 2 weeks of hire date O

ther Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

Knowledge of Epic Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: 1 year experience in a clinical service. Previous experience with an electronic health record. Experience with injections, minor procedure assistance
