Job Duties

Minimum Qualifications

Considerable knowledge of professional nursing principles and practices; medication

indications, actions, reactions and interactions; infection control; considerable skills in application of professional nursing techniques and devices used in a wide range of procedures; demonstrated ability to apply the principles, practices and procedures of professional nursing, to recognize potential patient problems, to make nursing assessments, to observe, record and evaluate patients’ response to treatment, to communicate effectively with others orally and in writing.

Additional Considerations

Experience in nursing at the professional level coupled with experience in medical/surgical nursing, psychiatric nursing, geriatric nursing, rehabilitative nursing and or nursing care of the mentally retarded
