Health Center Associate II (HCA II), Medical Assistant (MA), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Omaha, NE

Pay: $20.00/hr - $28.00/hr (HCA II), $20.00/hr - $30.00/hr (MA), or $24.00/hr – $35.00/hr (LPN) (experience will be compensated)

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Shift times: The shifts for this position offer flexibility, with start times ranging from 8:15am to 10:45am and end times between 5:15pm and 7:45pm, depending on the day. One Saturday shift per month is required, with start times as early as 8:45am and end times no later than 5:45pm. When working on a Saturday, one day off the following week within Monday-Friday. Overall schedule will be tailored to the needs of the team.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Additional Essential Functions for HCA II’s, MAs and LPNs Working in Abortion Care:

As appropriate, assist the physician with surgical procedures, monitor patient stability, and perform macroscopic exam of tissue post-surgery.
Perform ultrasound medical services in accordance with Planned Parenthood North Central States (PPNCS) Medical Standards and Guidelines (MS&G).
Supervise and observe patients post procedure recovery.
Comply with all laws governing services.
Comply with all policies, procedures, rules and applicable laws and regulations governing abortion and other care services.

This position is included in the SEIU bargaining unit, and depending on state law, requires union dues be deducted from employee paychecks in an amount up to 2.25% of gross pay.
