Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate Trauma Care activities and emergency room procedures during shifts.
Serve as a role model and mentor to nursing staff, fostering a collaborative team spirit.
Consult with physicians and healthcare providers for prompt ER admissions and efficient patient care delivery.
Oversee quality control and emergency protocols to meet regulatory standards.
Engage in conflict resolution and problem-solving for optimal ER departmental function.

We are looking for #ERNurses to join our #ER. Looking for #RN that enjoy #criticalcare and #trauma #Registerednurse must have their #BLS and be able to manage #rapidresponses. As a #ERRN you will quickly complete a #patientassessment and #patientstabilization. The #ER is fast-paced and requires #registerednurses that manage stress and can #collaborate as a team.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Current and valid state RN License
Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
Current PALS (AHA) certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current
Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire
Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNNC) within 6 months of hire required
Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting preferred
Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Facility Specific Requirements (facility may require items listed below):

In Paramedic Base Station ED: MICN within 12 months of hire and maintain current
EDAP certified facilities: Completion of emergency pediatric course 1 and 2 within 6 months of hire
Non OB facilities: NRP (AHA) certificate 90 days upon hire and maintain current
