Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

We’re URGENTLY hiring for LPNs in New Hartford, NY area to serve the needs of our client.
Great hours Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm/ You can pick all 5 days or any days you are available.

Responsibilities:

You will be caring for ill, injured, or convalescing patients or persons with disabilities in a prison. You will be responsible for providing quality healthcare to each patient in adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

Assesses, plan, and implements client care as directed by facility/ homecare and NurseCore standards.
Maintains competency through continuing education.
Administers and records medications given.
Conducts prescribed treatments.
Admits and discharges patients as directed.
Respect patients’ rights and maintain confidentiality.
All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Current LPN licensure with the State Board of Nursing in the State of New York
1-year experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the last 3 years in a supervised setting
Current CPR in compliance with the American Heart Association standards
Negative TB/PPD or Chest X-Ray within the last 12 months
Work Physical
Successful completion of the skills assessment specific to the areas of experience
