The medical center offers a full range of services, including 24/7 emergency care, chest pain observation services, breast MRI, 3D digital mammography, laser eye surgery, diagnostic and medical imaging, outpatient surgery, orthopedic care, gastroenterology care, urology care, primary and specialty care, rehab services, laboratory, and infusion services.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering the highest quality patient care according to the specific orders of each patient’s individual physician. This will involve, utilizing your knowledge and skills to educate patients and their families on prevention and healthy habits.Additional responsibilities for this health care role include:Monitoring patients’ conditions and assessing their needsCollaborating with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patientsAdministering patients’ medications and providing treatments according to physicians’ ordersFostering a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Active Kentucky registered nurse license or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky
Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience in ED or ICU specialty areas

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
