Job Summary

The Assistant Nurse Manager acts as a first line manager in assuming responsibility for the clinical manager of assigned staff on a designated shift. As such, he/she has shift responsibility and accountability for patient care activities and supports and extends the administrative leadership provided by the Nurse Manager. She/he regularly uses her/his independent judgment in connecting with her/his managerial responsibilities.

Hours: 11a-9p or 11a-11p

Job Essentials

Prior proven experience and expertise in a clinical area relevant to unit patient population, med/surg. Minimum 2-3 years clinical work.
PC proficiency required; Windows & MS Office applications preferred,
Management/Charge experience preferred.

Education Requirements

BSN required, MSN preferred. Certification in Specialty preferred
