Description

The Registered Nurse shall be responsible for coordinating and maintaining quality patient care through effective management of the activities of the total patient care during the assigned shift. The Administrative House Supervisor has the authority and responsibility for administrative decisions and appropriate notification of the administrator on call. Participate in Performance improvement activities. Utilize the nursing process to oversee and provide age-specific patient care. Communicate in an acceptable and easily understood manner.

Qualifications

Education: Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing as evidenced by verification of state licensure. Diploma preferred.
Experience: Two years of experience in a hospital setting. A minimum of 6 month's supervisor and/or charge nurse experience
Licenses/Certificates: Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse license required. Current BLS and ACLS are required. If not BLS certified on hire, must acquire it within 7 days. If not ACLS or PALS certified on hire, must acquire within one year.
