Q&A
IntelyCare: What is the best thing about being a practicing CNA and an IntelyCare corporate employee?
Eveline: “Being able to really relate to our IntelyPros is one of the best things about being a CNA and being a Client Success Manager. I believe it is one of my biggest strengths.”
IntelyCare: In what ways do you relate to the IntelyPros you work with as a Client Success Manager?
Eveline: “I am a recent college graduate and had to juggle school and working in the healthcare setting for four years. This is the reality of a lot of our CNAs, LPNs, and even RNs pursuing a higher education. I am also an immigrant who moved to this country seeking better opportunities – a lot of our IntelyPros share the same background.”
IntelyCare: What is the best part about being a healthcare provider?
Eveline: “Being a healthcare provider is emotionally rewarding! As a CNA you have the chance to impact lives through the care you provide. The relationships you build with your patients, and their families, will impact you on a personal level.”
IntelyCare: What does education mean to you?
Eveline: “For me, education means expanding our horizons by equipping ourselves with the necessary knowledge to better understand our surroundings and to succeed in today’s world.”
IntelyCare: What should everyone understand about being a nursing professional?
Eveline: “Everyone should understand that while being a nurse/CNA is rewarding, it is also very challenging. As a healthcare provider you are constantly juggling different responsibilities that come under the broad heading of patient care. The job can also be physically demanding, which is part of why we need to take some time to take care of ourselves. We dedicate our time to taking care of others, and it is important to take care of ourselves before we can focus on the well-being of others. We give better care when we are well taken care of.”
