Most frequently asked questions about working with IntelyCare
Long-term care settings

If you are CNA, no prior experience is needed to start working with IntelyCare.
If you are an LPN or RN, 6 months or more of post-acute long-term care experience is needed to start working with IntelyCare.

Once you complete your application and upload all required credentials, your IntelyCare account will be activated. Once activated, you may need to complete local training requirements. After that, you will be ready to start accepting shifts!

There is no official vaccine requirement mandated by IntelyCare, but many facilities we partner with may require you to have an up-to-date flu shot. You will be unable to accept shifts at these facilities during flu season without proof of vaccination. This will create limited shift accessibility.
Facilities may have other vaccine requirements as well (i.e., COVID-19), but these decisions are up to each individual facility’s discretion, not IntelyCare.

You must work a minimum of one shift every 12 months to keep your IntelyCare account active.

Once your application has been approved and your account is activated, you can begin picking up shifts in our mobile app. You can search for shifts by rate, distance from home, and shift date and/or time. New shift opportunities are always being added.

Yes. IntelyCare is a W2 employer, which means that we are able to provide our nursing professionals with benefits such as employer paid taxes, access to medical and dental insurance, retirement accounts, and more. Read more about our benefits here.

Hospital settings

Our acute experience requirements vary by discipline, opportunity, and work setting. Additionally, you must have recent hospital experience to qualify.

Once you complete your application and upload all required credentials, your IntelyCare account will be activated. Once activated, you may need to complete additional training requirements. After that, you will be eligible for work opportunities.

Our acute vaccine requirements vary by discipline, opportunity, and work setting. Your recruiter will help determine which vaccines are necessary.

Generally, hospital jobs require multi-week contracts. The length will vary by work setting and opportunity. You must work a minimum of one shift every 12 months to keep your IntelyCare account active.

Once your application has been approved and your account is activated, your recruiter will review your credentials and experience to help you find an opportunity that is the right fit for you. When a match is found, your recruiter will assist you during the onboarding process.

Job Board

Our Job Board has a variety of long-term care and hospital-setting opportunities. These are available as part-time, full-time, and contract opportunities.

Experience requirements for the jobs posted on our Job Board vary by discipline, opportunity, and work setting. Please reference specific job postings for experience required.

We will send you job opportunities via email if they match your profile.

Most opportunities on our Job Board are for partner facilities. You would be employed by these facilities, not IntelyCare.

The Job Board is a tool we provide to help gather nursing jobs from our partner facilities, all in one place. If you want to work per-diem and be employed by IntelyCare, you would need to apply to work with us and search for shifts in our app.
