Experience
Ann is a registered nurse, nurse writer, and published author of a self-help book titled “Discovery of Recovery.” She began her nursing career in neurology and orthopedics settings and eventually found her passion in the addiction recovery field. She successfully worked in mental health centers in the U.S. and Asia.
Prior to becoming a nurse, Ann volunteered in several healthcare facilities, including hospice, where she cared for patients with terminal illnesses. This experience ignited her passion for spirituality, yoga, and the mind-body connection. She also participated in an Earthquake Relief Mission Trip in Asia.
As a nurse writer, Ann focused on delivering approachable and relatable content that empowers, uplifts, and supports readers. She loves combining science, spirituality, and humor to create engaging, relatable content to help people change their lives. She is currently working on her second book, which aims to help people quit bad habits and learn healthy coping skills.
When not writing articles and books, Ann enjoys spending time in nature, practicing yoga, hiking, surfing, and rock climbing.
