IntelyCare Awarded Health Care Staffing Services Certification from The Joint Commission

Leading Intelligent Workforce Management Platform Receives Gold Seal of Approval for Compliance with Performance Standards

QUINCY, August 7, 2019 IntelyCare, a leading intelligent workforce management solution for post-acute facilities, has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Health Care Staffing Services Certification by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. The Gold Seal is a symbol of quality that reflects a health care organization’s commitment to providing safe and quality patient care.

Health care staffing firms place temporary staff in organizations that direct or provide patient care. Health Care Staffing Services Certification demonstrates IntelyCare’s efforts to address how qualifications and competencies of staff are determined, placement of staff and how their performance is monitored.

IntelyCare underwent a rigorous onsite review on July 11, 2019. During the visit, a team of The Joint Commission reviewers evaluated compliance with related certification standards, including program structure and management, leadership, and delivery of services. The Joint Commission standards are developed in consultation with health care experts and providers, measurement experts and patients. The reviewers also conducted onsite observations and interviews.

“Health Care Staffing Services Certification recognizes health care staffing firms committed to fostering continuous quality improvement in patient safety and quality of care,” says Mark Pelletier, RN, MS, chief operating officer, Accreditation and Certification Operations, and chief nursing executive, The Joint Commission. “We commend IntelyCare for using certifications to strengthen its program structure and management framework, as well as to enhance its staff recruitment and development processes.”

“IntelyCare is honored to receive The Joint Commission’s Health Care Staffing Services Certification,” said David Coppins, CEO & Co-founder of IntelyCare. “As the nursing shortage continues to rise, health care facilities are tasked with the challenge of filling shifts with limited resources. Our tailored solution allows our customers to address this issue by connecting them with local, highly qualified nursing professionals with a higher fill rate than traditional agencies, enabling them to seamlessly manage staffing support and meet quality standards, so that they can focus on providing quality care to their patients.”

IntelyCare implemented leadership and performance improvements for the supplemental nurses working in healthcare facilities to ensure they have met the requirements established by The Joint Commission. To assure compliance with The Joint Commission’s standard, IntelyCare provides written descriptions of all of its service features in addition to continuing education and training opportunities for its nursing professionals via the app to deliver the highest quality staff to its partnering facilities.
